Perception of Violence against Different Age Groups of Children at Primary Schools and Eight-year Grammar School

1. ABSTRACT § Key words: violence, conflict, aggression, cruelty, abuse, neglect, bullying, the perpetrator, the victim, children, adults, seniors, self-harm, suicide In this thesis I would like to focus on how children define violence, what violence includes, how to represent both the offender and victim, what is the difference in the perception of violence against various age groups and how to prevent possible violence. The theoretical part is firstly devoted to the notion of violence or similar terms synonymous to this and to explain them according to Czech and foreign authors. I have then proceeded to topics such as violence against children, adults and seniors, self-harm, suicide and the consequences of violence. In the practical section, I examined the perception of violence among students in primary school compared with students of the same age at a grammar school. I focused on the students of class sixth / ninth grade and first and fourth year of an eight-year grammar school). The survey was not only carried out in schools in the capital city but also in a smaller town.
Social work with aggressors and victims of domestics violence in Karlovy Vary Region

The diploma thesis is focused on the issues of domestic violence in the region of Karlovy Vary. Important concepts of domestic violence and forms of domestic violence are explained in the text. The thesis also deals with the description of typical characteristics of victims and aggressors, as well as giving instructions on how to work with them appropriately. Furthermore, the text provides information on possible legal assistance for victims of domestic violence. Last but not least, it describes the Intervention Centre for victims of domestic violence in the region of Karlovy Vary. The main intention of the practical part of the thesis is to refer to opinions of the social workers of the Intervention Centre to find out, whether they approve of the idea of working with the aggressors in the Intervention Centre or not. Therefore, the main purpose of the thesis is to determine how exactly the social work with aggressors in domestic violence is implemented in the Intervention Centre in Karlovy Vary region. Moreover, the real lives of victims of domestic violence are interpreted in two case studies. Bullying in multigraded class

The dissertation focuses on the issue of bullying at school with a small number of students. The theoretical part deals with description and definition of socia - pathological phenomena especially its causes, forms, wals of its solution, the sphere of prevention and last but not least with pupilś parents advice. It can help u show and where the given situation should be solid and where we can look for help. The practical part deals with the incidence and manifestations of bullying at this school between 2005/2006 and 2010/2011. The results are compared and examined and after that they are evaluated if the personal change on the post of school teachers in the course of these years led to an improvement of relations between students and teachers.
Knowledge of the pupils of the selected secondary school about the issue of domestic violence

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of domestic violence. The introduction explains the choice of this topic and also the definition of domestic violence on the basis of a literature search as well as outlines the basic division of domestic violence and its history. This part is devoted to the analysis of the personality of the victim and the aggressor. Legislative framework of the Czech Republic which relates to issues of domestic violence is listed here and it also presents a list of selected organizations that are engaged in assistance to people endangered by domestic violence. The practical part presents the author's quantitative research carried out as an anonymous questionnaire addressed to selected pupils at selected secondary schools. At first the pupils filled in a pre-test, then attended a discussion about the issue of domestic violence and later filled out the same questionnaire again. This way the author found out the initial knowledge about the issue of domestic violence of the students as well as their knowledge after attending the discussion. Bullying in schools in relation to the school environment

The theme of the thesis is the issue of bullying in schools. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part, the theoretical part deals with definitions of bullying, aggression, introduction to theory of aggression and setting bullying into the social context. In this part there will also be introduced methofological ways of obtaining data for bullying research and theoretical definition of bullying relations between aspects of school environment and bullying. In the practical part will be shown the data analysis of The survey of urban youth in 2015, which will map the relations between bullying and specific aspects of the school environment. The injured party and the victim in the criminal procedure

The presented thesis addresses the issues of the position of an injured party and a victim in Czech criminal procedure, including procedural rights they are granted by the Czech Criminal Procedure Code and currently also by Act No. 45/2013 Sb., on Victims of Crime. The purpose of this work is to analyze in detail this legal regulation in force, including its impact on applicatory practice of the state authorities involved in criminal procedure with emphasis on its application within the state prosecution service. The aim of the thesis is to provide the detailed analysis of the regulation in force in relation to the injured party as well as a victim of crime, provide its critical evaluation, find its flaws and outline de lege ferenda suggestions. The work is concerned with two extensive thematic topics, i.e. the injured party and his/her procedural rights and then a victim of crime, to which the work structure of seven chapters corresponds. Each chapter deals with a different aspect of the injured party and victim participation in criminal procedure, the first chapter describing the development tendencies and changes the procedural regulation underwent in the past just in relation to the injured party.
